Breathtaking Zakopane & Tatra Mountains Day Trip from Krakow

We first booked the trip when we got to Krakow and after a lengthy wait in the morning it was cancelled due to the car breaking down before it got to us. Even though a full refund was issued a fully compensated trip for the next day was offered and it was excellent. I’d highly recommend this trip even after the trouble we had the first day. Our lovely driver Matthew was attentive and informative and made it a great trip. The time given in each stop and then Zakopane was perfect and i couldn’t fault the trip at all. Great experience we really enjoyed.

It was well worth the 2 hour journey to Zakopane to experience the funicular ride (it really moves very quickly) and the stunning views from the viewing platform. We would have liked to spend more than the 3 hours alloted for the Zakopane part of the tour. The cheese and vodka tasting was, in my view, unnecessary (there was one piece of smoked sheep's cheese and one shot of fruit vodka on offer) and the wooden village was interesting but located in an area where many houses are made from wood - we drove past some exceptionally pretty ones on the way.

Wow I loved zackopane. It was beautiful. Stunning and snow was lying brilliant. The view mountains sun out . I loved loved loved it .Time and pick up was good. Jordan our driver and guide was brilliant. So professional and enjoyable .Price was reasonable I thought. What an experience so enjoyable. Visit all day was great. Busy but ok. I think it's for everyone.

Oscar was a brilliant tour-guide and we had a great tour with a stroke of luck with having lots of snow. We saw snowy mountains, ate local cheese and enjoyed rutal Poland.

A very enjoyable day, saw some great scenery, elegant buildings and went on a cable car to see over the town of Zakopane to the Tatar Mountains. The only downside was that the traffic was atrocious but our driver Matt kept cool

Great company, informative and efficient. Came ahead of time but did not leverage that to pressurexus. On the contrary - Matt was very latient with us all day long. The day I picked for the trip wasn't optimal but it wasn't mathew's fault. If anything - those occations are whrere one relies on the tour guide the most. Matt didn't come in short!

We had a wonderful experience on our day tour from Krakow to Zakopane. Our driver and guide, Matthew, was excellent—friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared a wealth of interesting information throughout the journey and pointed out many fascinating sights along the way that we would have otherwise missed. He also gave us some great personal insight to the Polish culture. The highlight of the day was the funicular ride to the top of Gubałówka Mountain. The views from the summit were absolutely spectacular and made for some unforgettable memories. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable trip. Highly recommend this tour—and especially Matthew—for anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane!

To be honest the tour was so so… I really don’t like when tours write in their description something that is not really fully the case. In the description it says that the Cottage Cheese Tasting is included: when I read this I expected to try a few. Instead, we only got to taste literally 1 cottage cheese and since we really liked it we asked if we could try another one. The people there said no, you have to pay after your 1 cottage cheese tasting. I thought this was included as part of the tour… it felt very cheap. The driver Thomasz was a nice driver and we liked him, he did a good job as a driver and he was friendly. I give the tour 2.5 stars and I give the driver 5 stars.

Great trip! Oskar was a lovely tour guide, and although the journey was two hours it went by very quickly and in a very comfortable minivan. Communication was great throughout the whole day. We visited Zakopane, went up the funicular to some amazing views, stopped off and tasted some traditional cheese and vodka which were delicious! Then onto the thermal baths. Here it was incredibly busy, however we did expect this with it being holiday season, but we still enjoyed it nonetheless. Highly recommend, thank you Oskar!

Nice trip to Zakopane with a great, pleasant driver, tour guide Mr Matthew . Matthew toured around the zakopane and wooden houses as well as offered us a ttaditional cheese taste. Thanks Matthew for all the info and great tour.
